Schools across the country again going into lockdown from 5th December. Remote learning again will become the norm with children (and staff) spending more time than ever online.

CPD-accredited online safety training for school staff

Completed by ten thousand school staff during the academic year 2019-2020, this popular course ensures your staff are aware of their statutory responsibilities in regard to online safeguarding, the online safety issues children face and how to reduce these risks. The course also ensures staff are aware of their responsibilities for their own actions online to protect themselves and their school’s reputation. The course has been updated for 2020-21 to cover management of remote learning in more depth.

Free for individual school staff to complete, 98% of individuals who completed the course stated they would recommend it to others.

OSA Certificate of Online Safety for pupils

CPD training OSA

With different courses aimed specifically at KS3, KS4 and KS5, the OSA Certificate of Online Safety is used by schools across the country to ensure children are aware of the risks they face online, how to reduce these risks, and where to turn for help if things go wrong.

The courses cover a range of topics including online bullying, grooming (including radicalisation), sexting, safe use of smartphones, digital footprints, live streaming, gaming, reporting of concerns and more.

Online safety training for parents/carers

Our updated course for parents and carers ensures they have an up to date knowledge of the risks posed by the use of the Internet by children, and the actions they can take to reduce and manage these risks.

All courses are undertaken online so can be completed through remote learning during lockdown.
